These terms explain how ClearLah operates Singapore move-out resale transactions: listing
review, buyer matching, checkout, PayNow/PayLah proof, self pickup, bulky delivery, refunds,
and seller payouts.
ClearLah role
ClearLah coordinates listing intake, buyer/seller communication, payment proof review,
delivery handoff, dispute review, and payout tracking. Items are secondhand unless the
listing clearly says otherwise.
Condition and availability
- Sellers must disclose defects, missing parts, stains, odour, pest risk, dimensions, and access constraints.
- Buyers should review photos, ask questions, and confirm condition before paying.
- Price, delivery fee, and pickup timing are not locked until ClearLah confirms the order.
Payment proof
- Pay only through payment instructions confirmed by ClearLah for that order.
- Use the order ID as the PayNow/PayLah note or reference whenever the payment app allows it.
- Upload or send the PayNow, PayLah, card, or cash handover reference requested in checkout.
- Proof should show recipient, amount, timestamp, reference, and enough context to match the order.
- Orders can remain unpaid, disputed, or cancelled until proof is accepted by admin review.
Pickup and delivery
- Self pickup depends on the confirmed pickup point, access notes, and seller availability.
- Bulky delivery depends on item size, lift/stair access, loading bay rules, parking, and crew availability.
- Delivery or handover proof may be required before completion, payout, or dispute closure.
Cancellations
- Buyers may cancel unpaid orders before payment proof, pickup, or delivery work starts.
- After logistics are booked, delivery or handling costs may still apply if the buyer cancels.
- If the seller cannot provide the confirmed item, ClearLah may cancel, release inventory, and review refund or replacement options.
Buyer Protection
- ClearLah can review payment proof, offer terms, seller messages, pickup or delivery proof, item photos, and dispute notes before seller payout review is closed.
- Eligible review reasons include unavailable items, unsafe items, failed handover, material misdescription, duplicate payment, or payment proof mismatch.
- Use the ClearLah order ID or checkout reference when paying, and keep all pickup, delivery, and condition evidence in the order timeline.
- ClearLah does not guarantee every secondhand purchase is refundable after accepted handover; buyer remorse is usually not covered.
- Approved refunds depend on accepted payment proof, order total, delivery or handling work already performed, payout status, and applicable provider timing.
Refund and dispute review
- Refund review may apply when an item is unavailable, materially misdescribed, unsafe, or not handed over.
- ClearLah reviews listing content, chat records, payment proof, handover proof, delivery notes, and photos.
- Seller payout may be held or cancelled while refund review is open.
- Approved refunds are reconciled against the accepted payment proof, order total, delivery work performed, and payout status.
- Buyer remorse after accepted handover is usually not refundable unless the seller and ClearLah agree.
- Delivery fees, handling costs, or mover costs may be non-refundable when work was already performed.
Seller payouts
Seller payout status may be pending, ready, paid, held, or cancelled. ClearLah may hold or
cancel payout if payment proof fails, the order is disputed, the item was misdescribed, or
refund review is open.
Rejected items
ClearLah may reject or remove unsafe, illegal, regulated, counterfeit, recalled,
hygiene-risk, or badly misdescribed items. Read the
listing policy before submitting unusual items.
These are operating terms for ClearLah's launch marketplace. They are not legal advice and may
be updated as the business structure, payment flow, and marketplace policies mature.
