ClearLah is built for Singapore move-out resale: secondhand furniture, appliances, bulky goods,
fast handovers, PayNow/PayLah proof, and condo/HDB pickup or delivery details.
Buyer checks before paying
Confirm these details in the ClearLah flow before sending money or arranging collection.
- Listing ID, item title, price, delivery fee, and payment method.
- Condition, defects, missing parts, measurements, and appliance working proof.
- Pickup point, delivery window, lift/stair access, loading bay, and dismantling needs.
- Do not pay a private party outside the confirmed ClearLah instructions.
Seller behaviour concern
Report pressure, harassment, abusive chat, repeated no-shows, number switching, or requests to leave the ClearLah flow.
- Keep messages, offers, payment instructions, and handover proof inside ClearLah where possible.
- Do not continue if a seller pushes for urgent deposits, private links, or a different phone number.
- ClearLah Ops can review seller history, reports, disputes, and payout holds before promotion.
Seller duties
Sellers must make the item easy to inspect and safe to move.
- Upload current photos and disclose stains, chips, faults, pests, odour, or missing parts.
- Give accurate dimensions, pickup timing, access notes, and move-out deadline.
- Keep the item available after accepting a buyer unless ClearLah confirms cancellation.
- Do not list illegal, regulated, recalled, counterfeit, unsafe, or hygiene-risk items.
Self pickup and handover
Use common-sense local handover habits.
- Meet at a lobby, loading bay, guardhouse, void deck, or doorstep where appropriate.
- Share full unit details only with the confirmed buyer, seller, or delivery crew.
- Take a handover photo or receipt when an item is collected or delivered.
- Stop the handover if anyone is pressured, threatened, or asked to ignore defects.
Delivery safety
Bulky delivery needs precise access details.
- Tell ClearLah about lift limits, stair flights, loading bay rules, parking, and condo booking rules.
- Large or fragile items may need extra crew, dismantling, or protective wrapping.
- Delivery proof should show item condition, pickup/delivery completion, and relevant notes.
Disputes and refunds
Open a dispute quickly if something materially differs from the confirmed listing.
- Attach photos, videos, PayNow/PayLah reference, chat screenshots, and handover proof.
- ClearLah reviews the order timeline before deciding replacement, refund, payout hold, or rejection.
- Buyer remorse after accepted handover is usually not a refund reason unless the seller agrees.
Immediate risk
If there is danger, suspected crime, harassment, or a personal safety issue, contact the
appropriate Singapore authorities first, then notify ClearLah with the order or listing ID.
This guide is an operating safety guide for ClearLah. It is not legal advice. We may pause,
reject, refund, hold payout, or remove a listing when safety or trust evidence requires it.
